Recent Honors:

1999 Armenia's National "Gold Medal Award"
presented to the Chookasian Ensemble by President Robert Kocharian, and the Government of Armenia; for their one-month concert tour of Armenia and for the many years of dedication and preservation of traditional Armenian music and culture.

2000 "Proclamation"
from the Fresno City Office of the Council Member of District 1,
Mr. Tom Boyajian, stating that Tuesday, April 11, 2000 in the
